Shortlist this week.
It would be staggering, but not unheard of, if the federal government spent $11M on a facility they don't intend to shortlist.
CSL appear to have ruled themselves out of working with Moderna/Pfizer, mostly because their modus operandi is to manufacture goods off the back of their own IP. AZ was just a favour to Australia.
All that said, I expect CSL to be connected in some way to whatever is announced this week. Even if it is a big fat grant from the MMI to develop a home grown family of mRNA vaccines for other health conditions.
