Moderna is to spend US$500 millions to set up plant to manufacture covid vaccine for poorer countries in Africa.
The Take from that. It's time and capital consuming to set up a new plant.
IDT has the facility, approval and capacity to manufacture the vaccine.
Moderna share price has plunged this week due to MODERNA low production output.
Moderna is desperate to find a fill and finish facility in AUSTRALIA. And I wouldn't be surprised if novavax and MODERNA start to compete for IDT FACILITY.
Novavax vaccine current output is extremely low, and they are extremely desperate to get production kickstarrts asap.
Remember IDT faciliry IS the only facility AVAILABLE in Oceania!!!!!!!!
