This is a really interesting piece because IDT is going on the record for the first time saying that it is capable of producing mRNA vaccines. Could be the prime candidate for Victorian money after all, or as I speculated earlier, one of a number of domestic companies contracted to produce mRNA. The realistic but ideal outcome for holders...

As for Commonwealth money I get the sense that level of government is desperate to avoid any immediate investment (the same approach which has made them drag their feet on building dedicated quarantine facilities for overseas arrivals). I wouldn't be surprised if Canberra pointy heads are advising that imports are more than sufficient to cover our needs. The same bottomless wisdom that relied heavily domestic production of only the cheapest vaccine, AZ.
