I'm not sure I understand the question.
It is an allegation. The allegation (whether there is any truth to it or not) could swing either way. It could add pressure to ''embarrass'' the Fed's (especially in the context of ''Prime Minister for NSW''), or it could embolden them to not choose a Vic based entity.
Either way I highly doubt the allegation will have any real impact on any of the bids, and probably not a firm basis on whether or not individuals wish to buy, hold or sell IDT.
In terms of purely political ''insider'' considerations I imagine it it ranks pretty damn low.
