I think the short/mid term catalysts for IDT will be:
1/ possible award of grants from the Federal Government in the Collaboration Stream and the Translation Stream of the Government’sModern Manufacturing Initiative fund (as per announcement 31/01/2022)
Does anyone have an idea of timing for the award of those grants? (could safely assume before the Federal election to secure a few more votes
) It would be interesting to know if IDT also applied for more funding from the Victorian State Government through the
mRNA Victoria Activation Program?
2/ successful stage 1 clinical trial for the MIPS mRNA vaccine and start of the stage 2 clinical trials (which could require the manufacturing of thousands of doses)
Does anyone have an idea of the timing for the MIPS vaccine trials? I found
this link from the NCIRS and it suggests the traditional approach could be up to a year for stage 1 but during the race to develop Covid vaccines, the process was fast tracked to a few months and that State 1 and 2 were even done concurrently.
