rebel, I just flicked through google, and here's an article on being declined a home loan- the article says to ask the lender what the story is, and they might be able to sort it or you:
Same applies for any kind of loan, I guess. I recall you can get a free copy of your credit history- somewhere online. If you apply - and get rejected- for too many loans in a short space- it makes it harder to get a loan, because the credit history check will show all loans applied for.
