The majority of the people i know are not racist or discriminate against aborigines. The wider population loves seeing people succeed and thus live fruitful lives. Europeans who migrated to this country were workers and not reliant on govt handouts. They established business's, farms, etc etc and have become much loved and valued citizens as third and fourth generation Australians. Unfortunately our Aborigines have no work ethic or drive and havnt been encouraged to do so. Currently they are their own worst enemies along side the people and organizations that pander to them. Demonstrate some of the qualities that the Europeans showed then i am sure the wider community would hold them in high esteem.
