I've been thinking about this a bit lately... if share holders were told at relisting "your investment money will only go towards vic exploration" im sure many would not have invested knowing how much of a nanny state it's become.. and if lakes were more transparent about the lack of interest from the government and the slim chance of getting any approvals then id imagine bugger all would have coughed up any money..
If I invested in lakes and they drilled a few duds and I lost my money It would be my fault and no one elses.. but to invest in a company that is purely using my money to fund salaries and not move the focus to wells that actually have a chance to be drilled feels like pure theft on lakes part!! I doubt very much this will end quietly either way.
