If ASX stocks are anything like NZX stocks, the international big boys are already cashed out before or during any big currency falls.

NZX dividend stocks took a real beating over the last few months as big boys saw the name of the game and cashed out of NZ$s as it fell from about 0.9USD to the NZD down to 0.63 to the NZD. There has been no big return to NZX stocks yet, notwithstanding some very nice looking dividend yields (into the double digits, for power and telecoms).

So, to conclude my rant, the AUD/USD cross will need to show signs of recovering itself (macro style) before the international money starts piling back in (that is, if it has even finished leaving...) Just my view
