Agreed, it's confusing right now. Not because of BitCoin's rising price, but rather the lack of interest. As others and I have said, people seem to be focused directly on the coins themselves right now, not the tools and companies creating them.
Take a look at the google trend page for "Bitcoin ASX", you can see there's a peak interest in looking for how to invest via the ASX.

All we can do for now is stay patient, surely it's a matter of time before this takes off in a big way.
