outside of quadpay, which they butchered the opportunity , zip raised funds to buy, in my opinion, overvalued insignificant tech start ups in random geographies that even long time rival Klarna wouldn’t go near

they’ve spent huge amounts on random businesses in random areas, only to lose customer retention and loyalty, huge rebrand and re promotional costs etc

they even randomly bought a minority interest in an Indian BNPL.

I suppose when it’s not your money, you can trial and error whatever you want, just don’t expect any seasoned investor or fund to go near you I suppose
