I do not disagree with anything you just posted.
The sad truth is that the only way that Lynas can apply pressure is quietly (not publicly). The company is in a weak position compared to the Anti-Lynas groups who can, and do, openly shout their message.
As shareholders we have to decide for ourselves if we believe that Lynas is really doing that, or if they are, in fact, just sitting on their hands and hoping the best.
While I have some serious reservations on some aspects of the company's dealings with shareholders and the wider community, I do think that there is pressure being applied.
The other important point which is not lost to me is that if (god help us) we need to go cap in hand for more money... the best person to do that is NC with his background. I, for one would be very mad if this is stretched so long that we have to do this... but I am not blind to that possibility.
