We have 26 Million mate, so half are non-taxpayers.
But if we consider GST, then all 26 million are defacto-taxpayers .
IMO a person on a minimum wage of $45K P/A should not have to pay PAYE Tax.
Instead corporations , particularly Multinationals , should be deemed @ 5% tax on Aus revenue
That would put an end to Transfer Pricing quick smart, IMO.

Since there has not been a mass exodus from either country up to now.
So I guess when it comes to lifestyle mix, money isn't everything...eh?
While loners on these threads may think that 'the buck is everything" but
I guess others may value place/belonging, culture, language, friends & family
etc etc etc as being more important important than the buck.
For example a person on say $60K set income from investments in Aus could
relocate to a place like Thailand and have a lifestyle equivalent to $250K P/a
But very few do...eh?
