To your credit you responded with dignity, a great rarity on SGH threads!
One of the last thing Slaters would take into account when advising to settle I hope, is the impact on cash flow. This is a favourite charge levelled by their non listed competitors. It would in the long term be a disaster for Slaters if clients and potential clients believed this to be the MO.
