oorain, plenty of Greeks HAVE left the country in search of work. Which only makes it worse for the country - the only ones who would have been at the forefront of a recovery have gone ... only the lazy ones have been left behind.
Blind Freddy on a dark night could see that this would never, ever work. All over Europe the move is to smaller units, not bigger. Slovakia and the Czech Republic, Scotland, Wales, Bretonne, Wallonia, Basque, Flanders, the Balkans - but no, the condescending bloated bureaucrats just knew what was best (for them!).
