this is an example of reductio ad absurdum
note the conditional statement "a soul only exists when..."
read some of hitler's demented writings (let alone his rantings) - it should become quite apparent that he was a very soulful person, although in quite a bad way
therefore for hitler, effectively speaking, and at least 99.9% of humans on this planet, including me, a conventional soul does exist.
