You could wait for another 3 months, then sell. This would minimise your capital gain tax. If ZFX get enough shares to compulsorily aquire, you could delay sending the form back for processing until the very end. (You need to be careful here, some HC respondants have indicated that if you are too late, the money is given to charity).
