Fancy, IMO Mick made a reasonable comment. The stock was trading at 11.5 the the day before the consol ann. During the day it rose to around 14 (a considerable rise in one day). Seems to me some (anticipated???) the consol ann which followed that evening. The next two days pre consol, trading on large volume saw us rise to 16/16.5 - on a consol ann??? Forget insto buying, there was only one reason for this and that was salivating anticipation by punters of an imminent deal. That probably won't happen in the short term. So how is a 50% rise on a consol going to be maintained, when the reasoning behind that rise will probably turn out false. Add to that no scramble of insto buying and the picture becomes clear. We will be heading back to where we started pre consol. Simples.
