If you had checked your facts, the consolidation was announced on 16/11 when the SP was 11.5c (equivalent of $2.30 consolidated).
It is currently, as I type, $2.71.
Therefore, it has not gone down - it has gone up (17.8% in a fortnight - better than bank interest).
My suggestion to you, if you don't know up from down, is to stop investing the the share-market.
