I agree, it's a good point for people to know regarding these potential scaleback SPPs. In a case of a hot stock like this one, the price is already rocketing up - so if I had been a holder on the register day, I would have held and applied for the full amount, knowing I might get a lot less. If you sell and hope that you'll get the full amount you applied for, not likely to happen with this one. And in cases where you do get the full amount, the stock is usually not on an upward swing like this one, so people don't rush to take up the offer, so you lose either way because often the share price of a stagnant stock can go down after the SPP finishes. Consider it a bonus, however much you get after the scaleback, but hold on to your existing shares.
And finally, thank you to whoever sold me their shares at 855 cents this morning. You've made me very happy.
