I doubt it happens but even if it did it would last about a day. The Iranian navy is reasonably strong but unlikely to match the US. And Iran isn't sitting on a big pile of cash. They need that trade. The only card left for them is China or Russia making a genuine effort to support them. But I just don't think either country wants Iran to have nukes that much. Both countries will tut tut Trump trying to win the moral high ground but neither will sacrifice anything to save Iran's nuke program.
