A more interesting question would be, if he did come back, how would we know? Usually, people who claim to be JC get treated by psychiatrists.
I guess he would have to perform a few miracles on daytime TV but even then we would just think he was a good magician.
I reckon that he has already had 2000 years to come back and, presumably, hasn't yet managed it so far as we know. What on earth makes some of us believe that he ever will?
