Which would mean Australia will not get a credible submarine force for some time. The ALP and their 'no nukes, no nukes' mantra is likely to mean that any nuclear powered submarine deal will sink shortly after an ALP election win.
Don't think it will happen? The NZ labor party wont even let nuclear submarines sail in their waters, let alone build any. Tin foil hat time.
