    Just imagine.............

I wonder what the Chairman and the Board would do if Merck made us a cash offer of 60c a share.

They would all face the end of the journey on the great gravy train known as Bionomics!

While the initial response would be to reject the bid out of hand, I actually wonder if the Board could even get Merck to improve such an offer - that is how feeble they seem to be.

We all talk about broker valuations and potential upside, but that is all largely wishful thinking and those valuations are based on a bunch of hypothetical assumptions.

    Show me the money!

If progress on selling the oncology assets is this slow, then why not simply approach Merck for a fair dinkum offer for the whole box and dice - and agree to back a bid at 75c or 80c or 90c?

Short of some kind of corporate development such as this, we will all be waiting until hell freezes over for the shares to go north of 50c.

Money in my pocket today is more important than some bio-bucks in 12months or five years time.........

The time for talking is over - its show time boys and girls.

So unless there is mention of clinical progress on BNC 210, I reckon the money spent on this little trip to the JP Morgan conference will have been a waste - as it won't attract any serious money into the stock.

History is a pretty solid guide - as the company trots over to this talkfest nearly every year and the outcomes are always the same - no fresh interest and no change to the register - let alone the share price.

    Watch and learn.

Big yawn and a waste of shareholders funds imho.

    Ho Hum.............
