If MSB is to be removed from S&P ASX 200...., page-35

I have been in and out of MSB a few times over the past 5 years and lost each time as the price kept dropping.

Before the TH, I had averaged down my most recent holdings to $1.95 as there was a dip in the MSB price between Dec and Feb this year to about $1.20.

The price rose again, then dipped after the TH to a low of $1.01

I averaged down heavily around that time and most shares were bought at around $1.10 to $1.15

I got to 8x my pre TH holdings and as mentioned earlier sold more than half of my holdings at a loss to offset CGT.

I have calculated that with the capital gain offsets, my break-even point is about $1.25 including losses incurred over the past 5 years.

I now hold 3x my pre TH shares and when they get to above $1.25 I am back in the green based on calculations and past losses.
