or I suppose they could raise the $'s and build their own Muslim Hospital I see the ABC reports -What's the best way to care for patients of Muslim faith? 5Aug24 https://www.abc.net.au/news/2024-08-05/improving-health-care-for-muslim-patients-/104164956 Any person having to be admitted to any Australian Hospital in 2024 should be comforted by the facts that their care & treatment is the result of centuries of huge advances in medical knowledge and stunning increases in life expectancy. I am aware that reps of various faiths visit hospitals and on my rare times in Hospital I have never seen a visiting Muslim official but I am sure they may be around. I remember over-nighting in a Catholic Hospital in the ACT and nobody approached me from that religion. Some hospitals may have prayer rooms for various faiths. If a Muslim patient said that he or she health was affected by not partaking in some rites then I would hope a Muslim religious rep would have a chat and explain that while he could visit daily - getting well was the numero uno path for the patient and that he could not bring the Mosque to the ward.
