Granted the SP is now responding accordingly, but you have to be careful with negative posts in these parts. No matter how actually relevant they are.

Anecdotally, I had to be swabbed two days back (Clinical Nurse with QH) and I asked the fever clinic if they’ve heard of the finger prick tests. She said she’d never even heard of them (as consideration for use in the field), and agreed with what I said in another post on here; that QH would probably never risk using anything without rigorous testing. She also made the point of what would I want? A potential false result in 15 minutes (and being personally liable if I brought it to work thereon) or having my brain tickled and the most accurate test to date. Incidentally, I’m negative!

I guess we’ll be able to pick this the company up for a bargain price on its remaining products down the track though, so I'll keep my eye on it in the forums and announcements.
