Wesfarmers says it cant make money on current Lithium prices and is considering its options.... eg sacking lots of people.
Add to that BHP having to sack thousands as its nickel mines cant make money either - losing in fact now. Add to this Mt Isa having thousands sacked form its mines as well for similar reasons. Netweork 10 about to have lots of sackings too as its owner tries to stay viable by reducing costs.
Have not even mentioned AI yet about to take away tens of thousands of retail, law, accounting and office jobs per country around the western world.
Just who is going to pay the these high rents?
With govts. that have not already done so about to stop foreign investors buying residential property just who is going to buy your property?
Labour has done what it can with income tax - it now has to attack other areas for its soon to balloon welfare costs. Triply soon when the mining tax dollars disappear that it has been used to.
But you property investors relax - everything is rosy. Nothing to worry about.....
