You are correct with your assumption that He was born of a woman, so yes, although i dont believe we will ever understand the intricacies, he identified with humanity, but was the divine son of God.
Many or most of the intricacies, are man maid, tradition of men.
He identified with humanity = what one would expect from a Man.
2nd Adam = Man and clearly his literal, physical beginning according to numerous passages of the Bible and not mans traditions, Began at his conception to Mary.
Born of the heavenly, not of the dust, earthly.
And yes,... that still makes him divine.
