    Proverbs 13:20 New International Version (NIV)

    20 Walk with the wise and become wise,
    for a companion of fools suffers harm.

    I can understand how easy it is for the bible to have so many versions
    as "interpretation" is not one of its strong points

    "eagles don't flock" in my mind means that people can have their own point of view without the influence of the majority and take responsibility for their own actions. It also means that you make your own decisions using your own common sense and not someone elses

    it does not mean that if you walk with the wise and you become wise


    but we will leave that proverb for some other day when we discuss herd mentality
