If One God, why so many denominations?

Mr G ,that verse in philipians amplifies what i am saying,not takes away as you suggest.

Emptied himself,he became another form of himself,the bible says he grew in wisdom and in stature.

By studying the scriptures,he learned who he was.
No matter what happened,he ramained who he was as far as he was the son of God ,sent to earth,he became a human being (God with us)if that isnt a God man or Gods son incarnate,just by reason of who he was,that never changed that fact.

Gods son was sent from heaven,and i realise this is the difference between yours and wotsups belief and mine.

You both reject the son was pre existent and say his existence started on this earth.
The bible says and i agree,God sent his only begotten son.

WHOEVER DENIES THE SON,THE SAME HAS NOT THE FATHER,he that acknowledges the son,has the father also.

The pharasees also like you and wotsup rejected this idea that Jesus was Gods son sent from eternoty by God

John 5.17

18 Therefore the jews sought the more to kill him,because not only did he brake the sabbath,but he said God was his father,making HIMSELF EQUAL TO GOD.
Also the pharasees wanted to stone him when he said,before Abraham was,I am.
They knew this meant he was claiming to be Gods son and came from eternity (pre existence )

Even the pope will admit Jesus was the son of God
But it comes with conditions,he wont say he was Gods actual literal son in heaven,just as the arians will not admit this foundational doctrine of truth.

Jesus words himself

John 11.36
Say ye of him,whom the father has sanctified .and SENT INTO THE WORLD,thou blasphemest,because i said i am the son of God

The world rejects THE FACT THAT JESUS WAS AN ACTUAL SON SENT FROM HEAVEN

God sent his only begotten son. --> Prophesy - This DAY I have begotten thee --> this is my Son whom I am well pleased and THEN he was SENT into the world.
Prior, he came out, forth from God as per the Word coming to the angel who then passed in onto Mary and then the power of the most High, Holy Spirit and then and for THIS reason, he WOULD BE called the son of God.
And sure enough, God says, this is my Son.

Sent -> Simple's --> Jon 1:6 - There was a man sent from God, whose name was John.

Yep, John as Jesus, was sent into the world and John did not pre-exist other than, in the mind and plans of God, as was Jesus as the Bible, not wotsup, clearly shows.

John 17:18 - As thou hast sent me into the world, even so have I also sent them into the world.

So God, raised and led Jesus, for 20 plus years, just as he told Moses he would and then sent him into the world and Jesus, likewise to a lessor degree, led and taught them and sent them into the world.

It is LOUD and clear, right here, so the spring board you are constantly using, need to have a pre-existing Son to send one, does not cut the mustard .
