As I remember it, the directors held massive parcels of OZL. Michaelmore and co. decided OZLs fate before he conveniently left to take up a post with minmetals. I think plenty of shareholders were bitter at the unnecessary firesale, but was out of our hands. I'm just thankful to have PH, because were it not for govt intervention that would have been given away as well!
