Absolutely mate, I know many agents personally who are feeling the pinch with this weaker market (in my opinion good, let them work for it, they had it too good for too long)
Real estate firms may benefit from an increase in sales numbers should a crash occur, however with many new agencies and agents on the scene, a decrease in numbers and an extremely competitive environment, their commissions will be taking a hit to win business in some, not all cases.
Interesting times ahead. My opinion only and I'm a property bull for the long term
