Hi Seer, I think it depends on whether the person believes we are having a "expected? correction, a plateau, a doomsayer brief moment of joy, a buying opportunity, a perfect storm to be taking advantage of, a pause or softness before rising again and temporary stagnation due to bad weather.
In this case, one would stay put and hope the spruikers bring them real good news and not more of the same as things deteriorate further.
On the other hand, it the person believes this is a pyramid scheme destined to wreck financial destruction, then even blind Freddie would sell ASAP !
A rebound won't happen easily for 6 to 7 years. US house prices still falling after 3.5 years and still not stablized
