LYC is a low cost producer because it could get supplies of chlorides from Petronas at the door step. No stocking, storing and transportation.
And LAMP, the most advance processing plant with economy of scale.
Yeh, China will start up a price war at the cost of $billions of lost profits and pump in $billion more to fund the RE industry to prevent their producers bust. Is it a long term solution? Dont think the Chinses are fools.
China popn development needs are paramont not silly price war for temporary dominance.
