I've been in silver at an average of about $32 over the last 12 months and its been a wild wild ride. Up to 50 in not time and then down into the 20s, back up to 30s etc.

It is fairly certain central bankers and govts have a vested interest in keeping silver lower and will pull any lever at their disposal to do so, Comex manipulation etc (though they can only raise margins to 100%!!), so I really think confiscation isn't out of the question SP. A spike in farm prices would also represent fiscal mismanagement by the government however banks like it.
