Just to add my few cents..

I subscribe to a lot of stock broker emails (the free oneS) and the one thing I have noted over the last few weeks is they have all except one, published bad things about gold.

Motley fool has pulled in the big Buffett bomb saying that billionaires don't believe in gold and its a lump of metal which will never do anything productive for you.

Others have pulled similar (although less pursuasive IMO).. the only exception was Port-phillip-publishings 'scoop lane' which remains bullish on gold.. as they always have. They see it as a wealth preserver rather than a wealth grower.

IMO gold out-ran inflation over last few years.. now based on my GDP+inflation calcs it is below what I would deem fair price.. so I will be looking to buy dips.
