So how in the heck will we cut up the Sunday roast, I guess what you mean is banning knives in public places but even that is a step too far. My son wears a Letherman multipurpose tool just about everywhere, it is an amazingly handy piece of kit that I have borrowed many times when I am in his company and he uses for countless purposes. It has several blades on it and could do a lot of harm in the wrong hands but banning something like that would be just a stupid kneejerk reaction.
