I'm suggesting we sell lower quality and up. the rest will need to be sold to market at some point, whether its now or further down the road.
Which do investors look at first, Price per Carat or Total Revenue?
I believe Mus have been collecting anything above 2 mm, at least that is their smallest sieve grading.
There are risks and costs associated with holding on to inventory as we have very unfortunately just experienced. Insurance, Storage, Security...
The margin that some of these jewelers make is quite high off of these lower grades., with the uses of borax, heat treating and glass fillers and therefore still popular.
Maybe, a good idea would be to put out some samples of the commercial and corundum out not to be entered into the auction.
