From my info the drill cost $40,000 day on site.
There are other people whose costs amount to another $40,000. That's $80,000 day.
As to shutting down and moving it to Alice (maybe because of supposed RAINY season) Im sure JH by now stating the obvious, CTP will have some arrangement with the drill company.
ITS fantastic at least that SURPRISE will have been drilled and results known before they retire for the rainy season.
If this rig company came here for one hole, they obviously are THEY ARE MAD, MAD but Im sure their motives are much bigger and parking in the CTP lot has been taken into account.
And also the drillers on site earn their money, so Im sure they are happy to RETIRE till March anyways.
What WORK, WORK and No play.
These poor driller! (The boss must be taking all that money!)
Actually I would think these guys probably earn per day as much as I would in a week?
