Now that I'm out I am finding it easier to be objective.

If there was anything that concerned me it was the pay off on the royalty. It seems to me that they wanted any possible interference to their games out of the way. That way they can drag it out for eternity without any hassle from people wanting their royalty income. On top of that they didn't even dislose the cost of the royalty payout.

With 20/20 hindsight it did have the hallmarks of being a bit smelly but I just didn't or couldn't see it due my overly bullish sentiment. If anything the lessons should prove invaluable.
