He claimed his innocence, and claimed that the star Indonesian crown witness was a blind man! He wasnt caught with anything, but still "fitted" for being the owner of drugs found elsewhere. Dont know if he is still alive. This must have been over 10-15 years ago.
Also, an Aussie expat girl married to an Indo told me years ago that there had been a girl raped on the beach by one of the resorts.Arms & legs had been machetted off to stop her struggling and she bled to death.
