I was getting at the delays we have had waiting for rigs in the past and in the present. If we have our own rig the company could map out a clear and achievable drilling program THAT ACTUALLY GETS DONE. I was using examples of past excuses/compounded delays due to other factors, rather than being specifically worried about a wet season.

The company has a bad track record of putting out drilling programs which just don't happen or have been delayed for years, controlling our own rig would remove the excuse of 'lack of rig availability' so we can be a bit more confident that a proposed program will actually go ahead.

It isn't like the mining services companies are overburdened with work at the moment, so if we could source a rig, crewing it should be easier than a couple of years ago.

The investment in a rig might well pay for itself within a couple of years if we have some drilling success, which of course is always the big 'IF'.
