Hardly worth the effort in contributing to this thread, but the Fisker battery is claimed to be (one of many in labs undergoing development) a "Solid State" battery. Not mentioned is that it is still a lithium battery. Solid state batteries are expected, if they can escape the lab, to at least double energy density, improve power and safety and reduce cost.
A better battery, whether it be a solid state battery, a new variant of existing, or a super capacitor will simply improve the economics of electric vehicles and energy storage markets and drive greater demand for Lynas's most profitable product.
