I don't think we really know how we got here. I find it difficult to believe any of the three common theories;
1) We evolved from pond slime, which itself was a random collection of carbon, oxygen and hydrogen.
2) Everything on earth was created by God in 7 days.
3) we were snorted from the nose of a pan dimensional creature.
