Questions arise from being alientated from nature & thinking too much in a self-absorbed manner.
For a scientific approach, instead of focusing on differences, in a self-absorbed manner, try considering similarities.
For example, man & apes.
Both have hair, four limbs, blood, bodily organs, sense organs, dwell in social groups, have emotions such as lust, anger, fear, reproductive instinct and can solve problems that have some degree of complexity.
Some human beings struggle with basic arithmatic while some human beings are Albert Einstein.
Clearly, not all human beings have the same qualities or nature.
Or plants.
Plants breathe, plants have some primitive form of mind because they can sense the sunlight and move towards it.
Both plants and humans need food to eat and have seeds for reproduction. Both plants and human beings have sexual arousal or blossoming in season.
Or volcanos.
Both human beings and volcanoes are formed and sustained by matter, heat and wind following within them.
If a human being is deprived of heat, air or food, it will certainly die.
Human being has one difference than the rest of nature, which is a mind with a very fertile imagination.
The human mind "reifies".
To be engrossed in PHYSICAL CREATION is to miss the sole differentiating quality, which is the human thinking mind.
To not understand the nature of THOUGHT and how THOUGHT creates existence is to be the same as the apes.
Good luck in your scientific quest.
