If they scrounge and pay everyone with IOUs this "game of chicken" (threatening to default) between democrats and republicans could drag on for another 3 weeks! What a joke! The US is making a laughing stock out of itself.
Also, if the democrats (or republicans) cant adequately explain how they are going to stop borrowing and get the budget into surplus then we can expect the USD to cop another downgrade.
