Saw an interesting alternative for recording patient records etc on TV recently.
A doctor in Los Angeles dictates a records of each patient visit onto tape and at the end of each day sends the recording, via the internet, to India.
Some type of service centre there transcribes the information onto a patient's PC based record and sends back to the doctor the same day.
Process does away with the need to hire a secretary or whatever on site.
