Yes there are some hard up people. But a lot of them wouldn't have to scrape so hard if they got off their backsides.
I don't fall for the scraping to survive bit while they have a fag in one mouth and a stubby in the other.
To illustrate.
1/ Walking past a soup kitchen, my girlfriend got hit in the back because an original owner didn't like his soup and chucked it over the shoulder. Centrelink recipient and tax payer parasite.
2/ Ruddy's hand out day - a week day - busiest day at the Burswood Casino for a year. They weren't at work. You'd have to say wall to wall centrelink wouldn't you? Oxygen thieves more like it.
3/ Behind a very well fed welfare recipient at the checkout (I know her). Didn't have enough money to pay for the grocery's. Had to make a decision, put the baby formulae or the chips back. You guessed it. Soggy chips.
4/ A tribe hanging out in the mall better dressed than my kids but intimidating them and bullying for train fare.
5/ My kids didn't get youth allowance because of my income. Some of their friends with mothers on centrelink payments, got youth allowance. Guess which kids could afford to buy dope down the park at lunch time.
I'm not talking from an ivory tower because I've been there. As have most of us. But I abhor the waste and the bleating victims because they have been taught that they are not responsible for themselves.

A lot of the stuff we post is tongue in cheek but I must admit I do get surprised when in an investment/trading forum people compare themselves with people scraping to survive off Centrelink.
