You can see by the announcements that they have convinced Credit Suisse to hand over their 5.75%. So it looks like they are going around to the remaining major holders and getting them across the line.

They are now at 74.07% and so I would suggest that they will get there.

I am interested in your PMM story. How would you know that it is not going to happen again? I don't know. That is why I prefer to hold on as long as possible. If the company doing the takeover gets over 50% then they have control of the board. If the board of the company being taking over recommends the takeover then it has a good chance of success. I think the critical factor though is that the major shareholders need to agree to it as well. Once they agree then there is really not much stopping them getting to 90%. If a company is close then they will just extend the date and mop up the remainder.
